The following position is available to strengthen our team of the Department for Legal Studies and International Relations at the Faculty of Business and Globalisation:
University Assistant - Praedoc (m/f/d)
40 hrs./week

* participation in university teaching as well as in scientific research and publication projects of the department
* independent academic research and teaching, including examination activities
* academic supervision, organisation/coordination, application and planning of university study programmes
* supervision of students in the preparation of scientific papers
* organisation of and participation in scientific congresses
* collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures
Your profile
We require evidence of the following qualifications for the application:
* completed university degree (Master's/Diploma) in the field of law
* excellent knowledge of German (at least C1) and very good knowledge of English (at least B2)
* high degree of independence and ability to work under pressure
* ability to work in a team, reliability and communication skills
In addition, the following criteria are desirable:
* initial international (study or work) experience
* experience in university teaching or legal practice
Your perspective
* full time position (40 hours/week) incl. paid lunch break (30 minutes, on days with more than 6 hours working time) initially limited to one year, extension is intended (possible extension up to a total of max. 6 years)
* minimum salary of EUR 3,714.80 gross per month (14x) on a full-time basis; willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications and professional experience
* possibility of home office and mobile working (max. 42% of working hours)
