About the job
As part of a brand-new multinational and agile team, you will be working on projects to enhance our product portfolio, plant productivity, and systems. In this position, you will connect all the different pieces that build up our complexity reduction (CoRe) methodology to create transparency and guide our stakeholders along the journey. In order to support our equipment design harmonization, you will drive engineering teams towards streamlined designs for our customer applications. You will collaborate with various departments (e.g. Operations, Engineering, R&D) in all regions and business industries to define and revise the CoRe portfolio, drive portfolio-related decisions and roll out the implementation of the CoRe program. Ensuring clear and consistent communication and follow-up on aligned actions also falls under the scope of this role.
In addition, your tasks will include:
Identifying opportunities for reducing operational complexity and cost savings within the different plant set-ups.
Supporting the creation of a new level-1-process aimed at enhancing governance for shape creation.
Creating internal tools to support the design of the CoRe methodology.
Presenting analyses, key figures, and results graphically.

What we expect from you in terms of:
Education & skills
A degree in Engineering or strong relevant professional experience.
Data analytics and data visualization skills (e.g. advanced MS Office).
Knowledge of the refractory market and products.
Experience in project management and transformational projects is a plus (e.g., recycling, lean projects).
Languages
English - Proficient/Fluent.
Any other language will be considered an asset.
Work Experience
Several years of relevant professional experience (e.g. in Operations, Engineering, Sales, R&D, Technical Marketing) in refractories or similar industries.
