TransAC - Training Academy for Additive Manufacturing (m/f/d)
The position is embedded in the research center "myLAB - Modern, innovative, flexible, and personalized Lab Training" and mainly financed by an Interreg Danube Region project, which aims to establish a Danube training academy as a measure against brain drain from rural and crisis regions. In detail, the TransAC project aims to address the negative impacts of brain drain and social stress in rural and crisis regions. It will focus on young learners, who are most likely to migrate, as well as vulnerable learners, including the unemployed, early school leavers, women, older people, and workers in carbon-related industries, who are most affected by social stress. Both groups will receive training to improve their prospects. The project focuses on training for additive manufacturing due to its economic potential for the project territory, as well as the high demand for trainees in this field. PhD candidates are welcome and obtaining a doctoral degree is supported.
Your tasks
1. Management of a project with ten to fifteen international partners
2. Coordination of the lead partner management team, consisting of communication manager, financial manager, and quality manager
3. Advising international partners on aspects of practical training
4. Publication of research results in reports, scientific journals and at conferences
5. Willingness and interest to learn additional modern teaching and learning methods, future technologies in the field of additive manufacturing, and organizational and financial structures of complex international projects
Your profile
1. Master or PhD in Engineering or Natural Sciences
2. Practical Experience in management and acquisition of international projects
3. Experience in teaching and the use of modern didactic teaching methods, especially in the teaching of practical content
4. Ability to work in a team, high degree of self-responsibility and accuracy
5. Skills in English (min. Level B2, oral and written; German skills are advantageous)
6. Good communication and dissemination skills

Salary: The salary for the position starts at least at EUR 5,200.00 gross per month (14 salaries, i.e., annual gross salary EUR 72,800.00). A higher salary might be taken into consideration depending on qualifications and work experience.
