The Technical Marketing & Development / Technical Customer Service Hygiene Manager, Nonwovens will act as the main technical point of contact for the big feminine hygiene brands, maintaining centralized knowledge of their specific needs and undertaking classical technical customer service work with high customer intimacy. The role will include supporting and advising customers with idea incubation leading to novel products, implementing new fiber innovations, and monitoring upcoming developments in the nonwoven equipment market.
Key tasks and main responsibilities
* You will provide support to our primary and secondary customers on a range of topics, for example: providing input on technical and quality requests; organizing and participating in trials; coordinating complaints; and verifying & introducing new developments
* You will work alongside colleagues from Sales/KAM to provide technical support for external partners; and conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis
* You will support colleagues in the Production and Quality departments in handling internal and external audits, carrying out market inquiries, and managing complaints
* You will collaborate with the Nonwovens Innovation Centre and the Business Development team, leading business partner-related developments and offering support for technical or product related requests
* You will plan and execute internal and external trials to support customers in fiber development & implementation, and you will be responsible for relationship management with machine & fiber manufacturers, and for monitoring the nonwoven machinery market
Your ideal profile
* You hold a degree in Textile/Nonwoven Technology or Engineering
* You have several years of professional experience in the textile/nonwoven industries, preferably in nonwoven manufacturing
* You have 3 years+ of experience with direct customer contacts
* You have good negotiation skills, and experience of negotiating in a range of different cultural environments
* You have advanced knowledge of nonwoven technologies, substrates, manufacturing and costing
* You are proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office & CRM.
* You are fluent in English, both spoken and written (ALTE Level 3)
