Austro Engine, Wiener Neustadt - Austria Airworthiness Engineer (m/f/x)
AUSTRO ENGINE, A DIAMOND GROUP COMPANY, IS ACTIVE IN THE DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION AND MARKETING OF INNOVATIVE AIRCRAFT PROPULSION SYSTEMS. TO STRENGTHEN OUR TEAM IN VIENNA NEUSTADT, WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED AIRWORTHINESS ENGINEER.
Responsibilities
* Management of available manuals, specifications and other documents according to AE-VA-Q-05-01
* Regular reporting to the Agency about Type Investigation progress and announcement of scheduled tests in due time
* Ensuring co-operation in preparing test programmes needed for demonstration of compliance
* Establishing the compliance checklist and updating for changes
* Checking that all compliance documents are prepared as necessary to show compliance with all CS and environmental protection requirements, as well as for completeness, and signing for release of the documents.
* Checking the required type design definition documents described in 21.A.31 and ensuring that they are provided to the Agency for approval when required
* Preparation, if necessary, of a draft for a type-certificate data sheet and/or type-certificate data sheet modification
* Ensuring the initiation of activities as a response to failure (accident/incident/in-service experience) evaluation and complaints from the operation and providing of information to the Agency in case of airworthiness impairment (continuing airworthiness)
* Preparing of repair designs and design changes
* Supporting occurrence inspections and preparing of investigation reports
* Data collection for inspected components and analyse abnormalities
* Management of illustrated parts catalogue
Skills
* Graduation from a university of technology, university of applied sciences or higher technical school (HTL)
* Minimum of 2 years experience in an appropriate development or production company.
* MS Office (Word, Excel)
* Knowledge of piston engines and rotary engines
* Knowledge of EASA Part 21 (basic knowledge and specific to DOA) and relevant AE processes.

The position offers a statutory minimum salary of EUR 3.207,73 gross/month (HTL Level) with the possibility of overpayment depending on your education, qualifications and previous experience.
