About the role
The Sourcing Manager is accountable to the Manager, Procurement for the end to end (source to contact) activities to deliver maximum value for TAFE SA. The role provides expert advice to achieve key outcomes in line with TAFE SA’s strategic plan, leads, manages and negotiates the resolution of complex Goods and Services commercial constructs, contractual disputes and provides specialist high level advice to internal and external stakeholders in line with TAFE SA Procurement & Contract Management Framework and government policies, procedures and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic planning of goods and services procurements.
* Acts as the primary resource for procurement technical advice and negotiation strategy.
* Monitoring changes across government Procurement policy and procedures.
* Plays a development role across the team in line with the Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in procurement and contract management.
* Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Excellent understanding of government policies, procedures, and frameworks.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
* High-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
