As the Finance Partner for transaction banking, you will support the Head of Finance in leading a team to produce and provide commercial financial insight, analysis, and recommendations to drive and improve Business performance.
Producing high quality and timely reporting will be an important deliverable (Flash, Monthly Reporting, Leadership team presentations, half yearly and annual reporting requirements).

In this Finance Partner role, you will
* Have a deep understanding of the business, its drivers, opportunities for growth.
* Translate the strategy of the business unit into functionally effective plan. Provide the overall direction to the BU leadership team to ensure development and delivery of objectives and initiatives are within the strategic parameters.
* Support the BU/EU Executives in partnership with the Head of Finance, to grow the business, align with our strategic ambition and ensure transformation / simplification benefits are achieved in a sustainable and coordinated manner.
* Deliver the reporting oversight of Domain and project activities, identify financial and non-financial insights.
* Identify financial and non-financial performance trends through critical review and analysis and develop and recommend strategies to improve business performance.
* Constructively challenging management’s proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit, providing advice to the Business Units leadership teams on critical decisions and tradeoffs.
* Create insights to assist the business in understanding plan changes and options to meet plan.
Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications Will Include
* Experience & some industry knowledge, proven track record in driving insights to enhance business performance and of financial controllership.
* Exceptional people leadership skills, ensuring the work environment is safe, supportive, has clarity and that our people are developed to their potential.
* Ability to synthesise detailed information and extract relevant key concepts.
* Enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders while delivering results and proactive in meeting deliverables.
* Interested in growing and adapting their communication skills to prepare and deliver presentations within the business.
* Previous Finance/business partnering experience with Finance/Financial Services knowledge required.
* Experience across a range of Finance disciplines including partnering with divisions, corporate centre planning and reporting and financial control roles.
* Relevant tertiary degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business and CA/CPA qualified required.
