SCOPE OF POSITION
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account / Business Development Manager to support our business expansion in Europe. The Key Account / Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in developing existing business relationships, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in alignment with our targets. He/She will also be responsible for ensuring the distribution of our products & solutions through successful contract negotiations with local and multinational retail and online partners. Furthermore, will actively support marketing activities and represent our company at industry conferences and trade shows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop relationships with strategic partners: understand their needs, work out and implement solutions utilizing the product set of our company.
2. Identify, analyse, approach, and negotiate strategic partnership opportunities with key customers in the region.
3. Actively monitor industry trends and developments to make recommendations for product enhancements.
4. Develop and maintain high level of client satisfaction and build long-term client relationships to facilitate future product expansion.
5. Demonstrate knowledge of the clients’ business and competitive landscape and propose solutions translating their needs into business opportunities.
6. Resolve account issues through internal escalation to appropriate management and internal support teams.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Successful Degree in Business Management, Economics or similar education with commercial and technical background.
2. Min. 5 Years of Professional Experience in Key Account Management or Business Development from the merchant acquiring, card or payment industry.
3. Familiarity with alternative payment solutions and the retail industry is highly desirable. Experience with open/closed/filter loop payment solutions is a plus.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify strategic opportunities and develop effective strategies.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
6. Ability to work independently and drive results, while also being a collaborative team player.
7. Willingness to travel as required to meet partners, attend industry events, and explore market opportunities.
8. Fluency in oral and written English and German.
