Today, we are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Sales and Bid Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Austria. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
* Manage and take ownership of all financial and commercial activities during project acquisition: contract analysis, cost calculation, cashflow projections, business models, taxation, financing concepts, currency, risks and opportunities, bonds, terms of payment, credit rating, insurances, export control, compliance, etc.
* Cooperate with specialist departments and regional companies, and prepare comprehensive, on-time, competitive offers.
* Analyze customer requests and tender documents, derive bidding strategies, and conduct contract negotiations until the contract is signed.
* Present offers and complex issues transparently to executive management.
* Prepare LoA documentation and meetings and provide regular reporting on bid status.
* Negotiate T&Cs and consortium contracts with customers, business partners, and other stakeholders respecting the frame of LoA (limits of authority).
* Support the Sales team with various business models and sales activities.
* Perform Sales data analysis for driving decisions on reach, customers, pricing, markets, etc.
* Provide timely & qualitative information about bid projects and sales activities to maintain transparency in business activities.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or any equivalent.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar commercial role within a project-driven environment (preferred in railway business).
* Good knowledge of controlling & reporting. Proficient in SAP, and other commercial sales & bid-related tools.
* Fluency in both written and spoken English and German. Additional language skills for Slavic and Romance languages are a plus.
* You are a team player and business oriented.
* Experienced in cross-country collaboration and resilient in a dynamic sales environment.
* Highly self-motivated, adept at handling rapid changes, and proficient in multitasking.
* A growth mindset is one of your strengths.
* Siemens Project Management certification is an advantage.

According to the collective agreement, the gross annual salary for this position is at least EUR 69.914,- Depending on your education and experience, overpayment is possible.
