Responsible for the end-to-end supply chain planning of commercialized finished good products supplied from external 3rd Party Partners. The incumbent will manage the execution and tactical horizon (0-36 months) of the commercialized products ensuring both supply and demand dynamics are considered in their decision making. The position will utilize available systems to manage their planning activities, including master data management. The role is responsible for supporting key business processes that drive continuous improvement and revenue (ex: market bids). This role will support the Supplier Relationship Manager in implementing the Apotex Supplier Relationship Management model and engage in delivering the expected outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
* Support the SRM by maintaining a close relationship with all Partners and provide support to how performance metrics and service expectations can be met.
* As stipulated in the Supply Agreements, communicate all the planning information necessary and within the expected time horizon to ensure the Partner meets delivery dates and customer demand.
* Engage in all executional activities to ensure delivery dates are met and adjustments to the PO’s/purchase plan are made to align with the market dynamics.
* Responsible for assessing product demand trends and engaging with Markets to understand demand uncertainty, market intelligence and to challenge when necessary.
* On a monthly basis, develop the purchase plan over the 24 month planning horizon ensuring supply chain targets are being achieved, and holding both internal and external stakeholders to achieving those targets.
* Ensure seamless and timely communication of the dynamic market conditions with the Partners to ensure they are set up for success.
* Generate a weekly product release priority list for QA to ensure the right products are released to market at the right time, and to assist the QA team to manage their resources.
* Generate a monthly traffic priority list for Logistics to ensure the right products are delivered at the right time and cost, with a focus on minimizing transportation costs (sea freight over air freight).
* Using the product release and traffic lists, predict the projected backorder situations for all 3rd Party provided products to ensure Senior Leaders across GSTO and the Markets are aware of service impacts.
* Responsible for supporting the Apotex Inventory Management process – target setting, projections, disposals, risk mitigation – with the objective of meeting customer service levels.
* For CPO management, collaborate with internal supply sites to assist the CPO’s in managing their asset utilization, and when there are delays by the internal site, work closely with the CPO to ensure service performance and customer demand will be met.
* Responsible for supporting the Apotex Supplier Relationship Management model, and preparing & presenting all necessary supply chain metrics at the Supplier Relationship Team meetings.
* Working with Accounts Payable, ensure the reconciliation of invoices and that the expected terms as stipulated in the Supply Agreement are being met.
* In collaboration with the Supplier Relationship Manager and in day-to-day interactions with the Partner, identify risks and opportunities with the supply plan, and come up with solutions on how to mitigate risks and take advantage of opportunities.
* Collaborate and participate in New Product Launch and Life Cycle Management Projects to ensure the right supply chain plans are in place and that project milestones are being met.

Job Requirements
* Education
o Post-Secondary Degree in related discipline.
o APICS designation or actively working towards.
* Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
o Excellent understanding and significant experience of ERP/SAP processes and master data related to supply chain planning.
o Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with strong to advanced Excel capabilities.
o Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills. Demonstrated experience in coordinating project activities.
o Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, technical and non-technical information to all organization levels both internally and externally.
o Proven ability to function in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
* Experience
o Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management and business relations ideally in the Third Party Management/Procurement function.
