Join SA Medical Imaging (SAMI) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of medical imaging services across South Australia. As part of the Executive and Campus Operations Management team, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and optimisation of a unified, state-wide medical imaging service. This exciting position offers the opportunity to streamline service delivery, enhance clinical outcomes, and maximise resource efficiency while ensuring safe and effective patient care.
In this leadership role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver integrated imaging services that support public health across the state. With access to advanced technologies like the state-wide Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS), you will have the tools to drive innovation and excellence in medical imaging. About You
We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to join our team and drive excellence in medical imaging services. To excel in this role, you will bring:
* Exceptional Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage multidisciplinary teams, foster collaboration, and advocate on behalf of the department with diverse stakeholders.
* Strategic and Analytical Expertise: Strong organisational skills with a high-level ability to analyse complex issues, conceptualise innovative solutions, and deliver clear reports and actionable recommendations.
* Relevant Experience and Achievements: Significant experience in senior management roles within medical imaging, including leadership in business process improvement, change management, and achieving financial targets amidst competing priorities.
* Comprehensive Knowledge Base: In-depth understanding of radiology/medical imaging practices, public sector management, budget processes, quality improvement, risk management, and the latest trends in health services nationally and internationally.
