About the Role: All4Chefs Recruitment is seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef for one of our esteemed clients, a dynamic and popular dining venue in the picturesque town of Schladming. This standalone position requires a chef who can independently handle all aspects of sushi preparation and production, from prepping ingredients to crafting beautiful sushi dishes for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services. The venue prides itself on flexibility and creativity, allowing the Sushi Chef to contribute ideas and make menu changes based on their expertise and customer preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Independently manage all sushi kitchen operations, including preparation, production, and presentation of sushi dishes.
2. Prepare a variety of sushi, including rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and chef's special creations, ensuring consistent quality and presentation standards.
3. Handle all aspects of kitchen prep work.
4. Oversee inventory management, including ordering fresh fish and other ingredients, maintaining stock levels, and minimizing waste.
5. Collaborate with the restaurant owners to update and customize the sushi menu according to customer feedback and seasonal ingredients.
6. Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
7. Manage sushi orders for both dine-in and takeaway, coordinating delivery orders efficiently.
8. Train and mentor kitchen staff as needed, ensuring high standards are maintained.

Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Sushi Chef, ideally in a standalone position where you managed all aspects of the sushi kitchen.
2. Strong knowledge of traditional sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and a keen eye for presentation.
3. Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing all sushi-related tasks from prep to service.
4. Flexibility to adapt to seasonal changes, customer preferences, and menu updates.
5. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and hygiene standards.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a busy service environment.
7. Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
8. Available to start immediately, with a willingness to complete a trial period.
9. Starting daily at 1 p.m., with the kitchen open to guests from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
10. Flexible working schedule: 5+2 or 6+1 days, arranged depending on the season.
11. Competitive salary ranging from €2,500 to €3,000 net per month, depending on experience.
12. Accommodation provided at no cost, with options for a private room or a double room for couples.
13. Break period from November 3rd to November 28th, followed by a return to full-year employment.
