1. PCB Board development for inductive sensors including Layout
2. Support prototype assembly of Application Modules
3. Simulation of Inductive Sensor Elements with internally developed Simulation Tool
4. Create and maintain technical customer documentation (app notes, user manuals, etc...)
5. Support the creation of "Design-In Material" for the market launch of products
6. Assist measurements on Inductive Position Sensor Modules on a Test-Bench
7. Customer support activities
8. Contribute to application/product requirement definition from the market
9. Customer guidance from a sensor prototype to a mass market product
10. Occasional business trips to different Renesas sites as well as to customers
Requirements:
11. A university/HTL degree in the field of electronic, electromechanics or similar
12. Up to 3 years of experience in a technical role Basic knowledge of PCB Design process
13. Solid expertise in PCB design and layout – prior experience with Altium is a plus;
14. Knowledge of electronic laboratory equipment such as Oscilloscopes or function generators Transparent and pro-active sharing of information and agile working mindset
15. Open-minded communicative person enjoying to work within a global Team
16. Programming language skills such as LabView is beneficial
Very good English language, both verbally and written
This position is subject to the Collective Agreement of the Electrical and Electronics Industry, employment group F-G ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times a year. However, we offer a higher salary depending on your experience and qualifications.

To further strengthen our automotive sensor division group, particularly the product line, at our Graz location we are looking for an System/Application Engineer (f/m/d).
The Renesas Austria office is the strategic competence center for Inductive Position Sensors. The Team includes different functions such as product management, product marketing and System/Application engineering.
Renesas is one of the key suppliers of Standard products in the field of Inductive Position Sensors and is continuously expanding its product portfolio.
In this role you will be part of a very motivated and entrepreneurial System- and Application Engineering Team, which is collaborating with internal departments such as engineering, field application engineers, sales as well as external customers both on international level.
The Renesas Austria Team will help you getting started in this new role by providing technical trainings on the Inductive Position Sensing Technology as well as required Software / Application Tools.
