Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
* Creates a Quality culture by driving compliance activities around a specific product or site. This includes being responsible for designated areas of the total quality management system for the business and driving Quality metrics. Ensures quality and regulatory compliance while driving process effectiveness and efficiency.
* Represents GE Healthcare to external agencies and champions the evolution of the quality culture which includes executing and driving quality objectives, metrics, reporting and operating mechanisms.
* Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or experience. Understands how work of self and team contributes to the success of the overall department.
* Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
* Collaborates with others to solve issues. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
* Coordinates cross-functional projects in an international matrix organization within the framework of a global QM system, with a strong focus on production transfers.
* Coordinates maintenance and simplification of processes as well as product-related documentation (e.g. work instructions, templates, checklists, etc.) while maintaining the conformity of our processes.
* Guides employees through the investigation of nonconformities and the development and implementation of effective and compliant solutions within our CAPA system.
Required Qualifications
* Experience in Quality Management Systems and working in a regulated environment (preferably Medtech, Medical Device or Healthcare Quality). Knowledge level required is comparable to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
* Practical experience and application in international quality management systems with a focus on medical devices preferred.
* Knowledge of tools for continuous improvement of QMS processes (ideally bringing experience in working with LEAN methodologies).
* Practical experience in project management.
* MS Office skills.
* Languages: German fluent, English min. level B2.

* Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
* Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple priorities and meet required timelines.
* Experience in leading teams a plus.

* In Austria we are required to state the minimum pay. For this position, the annual compensation package starts at € 55.000. We will be pleased to discuss the appropriate effective salary based on your qualifications and experience.
