Job Overview
Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste removal and recycling services throughout Australia. We are a key player in the Adelaide waste management market and have an opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified leader to manage municipal collection contracts and our commercial division in Adelaide. This position will be based at our North Plympton office.
Key Responsibilities
The role has accountability for the daily collection of Municipal wheelie bins for our Council customers and daily collections of our commercial customers. You will be responsible for the direct management of a team of drivers and be the first point of contact for service and operational requests from Commercial Customers as well as Council. This is a challenging position in a busy environment providing an essential service to the community. The ability to build strong relationships with your team is an essential requirement of the role, as is a strong service ethic. You will be trained in the specifics of the role and mentored by experienced colleagues who will support you as you learn the business.

Minimum Requirements
Experience in the waste industry would be desirable but not a necessity. Your experience and your ability as a leader is more important:
* Be a team leader and be able to build a cohesive unit around you
* Act promptly to resolve issues
* Have an eye for detail and able to make fact-based decisions
* Adhere to company standards
* Lead by example and take initiative for action
* Hold a valid HR truck licence
