As a Product Manager Sports Data, you will play a key role in steering the strategic direction and growth of the company's athlete and sports data solutions. You will work closely with the Head of Athlete & Sports Data to develop and execute digital products that optimize athlete performance and provide competitive advantages.
Key Responsibilities:
* PRODUCT STRATEGY & INTEGRATION: Work with the Head of Athlete & Sports Data to align digital product strategy with broader data-driven initiatives focused on enhancing athlete performance.
* PROCESS OPTIMIZATION: Develop and maintain processes for sports departments, including training planning, game and player analysis, and performance diagnostics.
* BUSINESS CASE DEVELOPMENT: Define project objectives, scope, and requirements as part of business product ownership responsibilities, collaborating closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
* COMMERCIALIZATION STRATEGY & REVENUE GROWTH: Internally conceptualize the internal business plan and cost allocations within the sports ecosystem while driving the implementation of sports data products globally.
Requirements:
* Minimum 7 years of experience in product management or related roles within data-driven businesses or the sports industry.
* Experience with architecting scalable applications and Agile development environments.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
* Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
* Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
* High resilience and ability to thrive in complexity.
* Results-oriented with a hands-on mentality.
* Demonstrable experience in application support and development coordination.
* Advanced degree in business administration, data science, or a related field.
