Your Role
As Quality Assurance Manager, you will drive quality initiatives in the development team. You will identify risks, collaborate closely with the team, and ensure high-quality standards throughout the project. Additionally, you will support clients on quality processes and contribute to the development of the QA department, while continuously developing your own skills.
Your key responsibilities are:
* Owning quality in projects
* Planning, executing, and enhancing testing strategies, release processes, automation tests (UI, API, performance), and documentation within the scrum team
* Ensuring quality without dedicated testers by enabling scrum teams and developing effective quality processes
* Ensuring compliance with team processes while recommending and implementing improvements
* Consulting clients on quality processes and evolving defect management processes
* Identifying quality risks and supporting proactive mitigation strategies throughout the software development lifecycle
* Maintaining quality metrics and implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement
* Contributing to QA department development
Your Skills
* At least three years of professional experience in IT or software development
* Ability to manage critical situations professionally
* In-depth understanding of quality control, assurance, and management differences
* Expertise in implementing and managing quality assurance processes
* Experience with UI automation and interest in API and performance tests
* Proficiency in English at a professional level
Beneficial Skills
* Basic programming knowledge
* Relevant certifications in quality testing (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level)
* Experience with agile development processes (SCRUM, KANBAN)
* Fluent German skills preferred
