Job Description
In your role as an HR Business Partner (m/f/d) located in Vienna, you will act as the competent first point of contact for the business managers and employees in all relevant HR topics. You will also support and advise when it comes to planning, implementation, and follow-up of people and organizational development measures.
Reporting to our HR Lead Germany/Austria, you will be supported by a great team, end-to-end processes, and modern HR tools such as Workday.
Your focus is to support the local Business in Austria, but it’s also part of the Role to support parts of the German Business from time to time.
Your tasks:
* Establish a very close and trustful relationship with the departments in order to drive topics such as employee retention, feedback cycles, and career development.
* Take responsibility for the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding to ensure a great employee experience.
* Steward all HR processes such as talent and performance management, leadership and employee coaching and development, as well as recruitment in close collaboration with line managers and our Recruiting HUB.
* Jointly ensure and maintain data accuracy in Workday and generate meaningful insights from as well as enable data-driven decisions based on data and reports available.
* Work together with a functional team of HR professionals in our COEs (e.g. recruiters, HR Operations, global mobility, and people development experts) to deliver excellence in HR execution.
* Working closely with the local works council to ensure labor law compliance in close cooperation with the HR Lead Germany/Austria.
Your skills and experiences:
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant HR work experience, for example as HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar roles.
* Fluent in German and English and confident using MS-Office.
* Profound knowledge in Austrian labor law; optional knowledge in German and Switzerland labor law.
* Experience of working with a works council.
* People-oriented team player with empathy.
* Interest in a career in an international group and able to think globally whilst acting locally.
* Change-driven and open for thinking out of the box.
* Proactive and solution-oriented personality with confidence and skills to communicate with different stakeholders, being assertive and trustworthy.
* Can-do mentality - highly organized with a structured way of working.
* Ability to translate your profound theoretical HR knowledge into actionable measures.
* Data savvy, strong experience working with reports and dashboards.
* Experience with Workday is a plus.
* It’s also a plus if you’ve already supported associates in Germany or Switzerland.
