In your role, you will:
1. Clarify the civil solutions according to the project requirement and coordinate the cost estimating with external civil designers and contractors during the sales phase.
2. Clarify, discuss, and present the technical solution towards the team and the customer across all project stages.
3. Create request for quotations (RFQs) for civil-related packages, find the right civil contractor partners and negotiate contracts together with procurement.
4. Schedule the civil tasks for the projects and align with the overall project plan.
5. Manage civil design solutions over the total project lifetime and provide input for overall design optimization to reduce civil costs.
6. Serve as the escalation level for customer and suppliers regarding civil design topics.
7. Provide expertise to customers according to our project strategy.
8. Align required or requested modifications with the internal product design experts.
9. Inspect connected civil works and manage change effectively.
You report directly to the global director of engineering of our P2X solutions.
In your personal skill set, you have:
* Degree level qualification in a civil engineering discipline.
* Minimum years of experience in civil project management; experience for industrial solutions is a plus.
* Knowledge about technical building equipment like HVAC, fire protection systems, lighting, etc., is a plus.
* Ability to consult with customers and notified bodies about technical design requirements is expected.
* Experience in explaining design solutions in an engaging manner.
* Experience performing acceptance tests and supervising construction.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
* Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills.
* Solution/team/customer oriented with the confidence to act proactively.
* Fluent in English; another European language is an advantage.
* Willingness to travel for 5 days per month on average.

In Austria, we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € ,04 per month for this position.
