About the Role
As a Technical Project Manager at Borealis, you will be responsible for managing investment projects in line with company procedures and engineering design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the overall project management process from scope definition to project closure.
* Ensure project delivery aligns with objectives in HSE, quality, timing, and cost.
* Manage multiple low and medium complexity projects or a high complexity project within technical development and engineering.
* Act as a role model for HSE performance and enforce high standards for the project team.
* Report and communicate with the Steering Committee regarding scope definition, cost, progress, and safety performance.
* Establish and manage contractor and procurement activities including closing contracts, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring legal compliance.
* Conduct effective risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential and actual risks.
* Take corrective actions and implement proactive mitigation plans when necessary.
* Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through continuous communication and management to achieve project goals.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical/Instrumentation and Control Systems. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
