About The Role
The role of Clinical Operations Manager will assist with overseeing the Group’s Clinical Operations and assists with the development of any new clinical related projects as well as education and quality assurance. You may also be required to undertake the role of ICU Flight nurse on our international air ambulance. The role undertakes multi-site and operations management within the critical care fields. The role is required to oversee a wide cross section of clinical operations including:
* Aeromedical Retrievals
* Remote Medical Clinics
* Event Medical Services
* Clinical stores and stock management
* Preparation and deployment of medical equipment
* Maintenance of clinical equipment
* Coordinating clinical education and management of clinical training matrix
* Advising operations staff and HR staff on clinical requirements
As a Clinical Operations Manager your responsibilities include:
* Contract Management
* Full knowledge of all requirements and obligations that we are required to meet with our clients including but not limited to: Poisons permits, clinical supply chain, clinical reporting, HSE reporting
* Strengthening Relationships with key client personnel
* Systems development to streamline and improve processes
* Monitoring of all clinical projects and preparations of reports
* Working within budgets and establishing cost efficiencies
* Clinical Flight Operations
* New Contract Implementation
* Staff Management
* Providing clinical guidance and assistance to Operations Team
* Assistance with general 24/7 coverage of operations communications
As a Clinical Operations Manager you will possess:
* Bachelor’s of Nursing
* Post grad Qualifications in Critical Care Nursing
* Minimum 5 years in a critical care setting (ICU/ED) with current ventilator currency
* At least two years’ management / assistant management experience
* Leadership or Management studies
