The Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team as the second Managing Director (MD). This high impact leadership role is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of our multinational business activities. Driving strong growth in the HAAS (Hardware as a Service) and SAAS (Software as a Service) business models globally, improving the operational efficiency of the business, and pushing the maturation of the accounting and financial processes and controls will be a key priority. The COO will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Board of Directors, the affiliates and other stakeholders to drive strategic growth, optimize operations, and lead our global expansion efforts. This role is designed with the potential for succession to the CEO position. The successful candidate will work closely with the current CEO and Founder to gain a deep understanding of the company''s operations, strategic goals, and market dynamics. This will prepare the candidate to take on the CEO role in the future, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of leadership. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all operational functions, including the commercial, product management, engineering, production, supply chain, logistics, and customer service. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and profitability to control costs while supporting growth opportunities and ensuring a competitive position in the market. Establish and drive the execution of all commercial activities, including sales, product management, and R&D. Develop and implement strategies to focus the sales force efforts on key market opportunities and customer segments. Create and maintain a product roadmap for the R&D team, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals. Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive innovation and bring new products to market. Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform commercial strategies and product development.
