UnitingSA is looking for a Team Leader to lead our Parent Pathways program, empowering a team of mentors and support staff to deliver meaningful outcomes for families facing complex barriers.
In this leadership position, you’ll manage a team of Senior Mentors, Mentors, and Administration Assistants, supporting them in empowering families and driving change. Your leadership will be crucial in managing relationships with key community stakeholders to ensure our services are effective, impactful, and responsive to the diverse needs of Adelaide families.
Here’s What a Typical Week in the Role Might Look Like:
* Inspiring Leadership: Motivate and mentor your team to deliver exceptional case management services, fostering their professional growth and confidence.
* Strategic Oversight: Monitor program performance, case loads, and compliance, ensuring high-quality outcomes and alignment with organisational goals.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture partnerships with community organisations, government bodies, and other key stakeholders to enhance program delivery.
* Driving Results: Support your team in creating tailored plans for families, breaking down barriers to employment and education, and achieving measurable outcomes.
* Team Empowerment: Facilitate regular training and professional development opportunities to upskill your staff.
* Program Innovation: Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, ensuring the program remains responsive to the needs of families and the community.
What You’ll Bring:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Social Work, Education, Youth Work) and a current driver’s licence.
* Proven leadership experience in human services, with a strong ability to inspire and empower teams.
* Demonstrated expertise in case management and working with families facing complex challenges.
* Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, and advocacy.
* Strategic thinking with the ability to oversee program delivery, manage budgets, and ensure compliance.
