We are stepping into the electrolysis market now and grow a new business segment for ANDRITZ over the next years! In our technology roadmap we go to the market with alkaline (AEL) and proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis process. For anion exchange membrane (AEM) and solid oxide electrolysis (SOEL) we follow the market and technology development.ANDRITZ has experience in turnkey and EPC projects globally, a high competence in best-cost manufacturing, active cooperation with HyCentA Technical University Graz and Fraunhofer ISE, close connection to potential Green Hydrogen customers in the existing customer base in the energy sector through ANDRITZ Hydro, in the pulp & paper and steel industry.We are looking for a Green Hydrogen Product Engineer Electrical Solutions (m/f/d) at our headquarter in Vienna.What you can expectConcept designing for power distribution and rectifier systems at plant levelResearching and evaluating of potential partners and suppliersDefining and creating of electrical studies (e.g. short circuit, harmonic, arc flash protection and coordination, grounding)Establishing and managing electrical design standardsElectric system cost and design advisory within sales and execution projectsPreparing electrical basic design documentsCreating and evaluating inquiries for the procurement processWhat you bring on the table?Degree level qualification in an engineering disciplineMinimum five years of experience in designing and implementing industrial medium and low voltage power systemsProven experience with industrial rectifier systems and/or high voltage (HV) systems is a plusAbility to consult and negotiate with customers and suppliers to prepare robust specifications, explain proposals in an engaging manner and present results in clear and factual engineering reportsExperience to perform acceptance tests and to supervise the installation and commissioning during start-upKnowledge about European electrical standards. North American standards will be a plusExperience in the preparation and evaluation of short-circuit and harmonic studies is an advantage.Strong communication, analytical and planning skillsSolution/team/customer oriented with the confidence to act pro-activelyFluent in English.
