DESCRIPTION:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator for a remote contract opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Transitioning global payroll environment to the SAP ECP platform.
2. Testing of SAP ECP payroll results in preparation for transition to production.
3. Transitioning to Operational support of US Payroll post-implementation.
4. Analyzing, auditing, reconciling, and resolving complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues.
5. Interpreting pay policies and ensuring appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated correctly.
6. Ensuring payroll outputs are compliant with company policy, GAAP, and regulations.
7. Researching and interpreting federal and state regulatory requirements.
8. Responding to audit, legal, and regulatory inquiries.
9. Documenting payroll processes and procedures; training payroll department staff.
10. Working with system programmers for solutions or administering the payroll system with an outside service provider.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience with SAP ECP or SAP On Premises Payroll (implementation and/or operations).
2. Experience with In House Payroll.
3. Payroll system implementation experience including design, build, test, train, and/or document.
4. Certified Payroll Professional (APA).
5. Experience working effectively in a virtual environment.
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience with a minimum of 4 years professional experience.
WORK HOURS: Full-Time
1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
