The Opportunity
As part of the Asset Management division at La Trobe Financial, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to both new and potential La Trobe Financial investors. You will handle general and specific investment enquiries and provide support to the La Trobe Retail Investor Market.
A key aspect of this role is to coach, mentor and motivate the Sales Desk Relationship Manager team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to self-manage are essential. Additionally, as a senior team member, you will be expected to assist the Senior Manager with day-to-day operational matters, handle escalations, and provide relief as needed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coaching, mentoring, and motivating the Sales Desk relationship Management team.
2. Maintaining and growing new and existing investor relationships.
3. Attending to all written and telephone investor enquiries.
4. Handling all investor-related complaints and escalating to management as required.
5. Acting in a sales capacity to promote La Trobe Financial’s investment products.
6. Actively participating in La Trobe Financial’s Client Contact Program to enhance promotion and client satisfaction.
7. Promoting investment opportunities through direct telephone contact with investors and other La Trobe Financial stakeholders.
8. Providing regular reports to the Senior Manager on the completion of tasks.
9. Achieving set metrics.
About you
1. Banking/Finance experience – minimum three (3) years
2. Degree/Diploma in appropriate business-related discipline
3. Team leadership experience with a focus on driving sales
4. Wealth Industry experience - minimum five (5) years
5. Proficient Client Relationship Management skills
