Responsibilities
* Identify and prevent potential quality risks in new projects
* Ensure quality requirements of purchased parts are met
* Select, qualify, develop and audit international suppliers based on latest automotive and aviation quality standards
* Control initial sample process, accept and approve deliveries, and process complaints
* Safeguard and improve manufacturing processes and product quality at international suppliers
* Track, evaluate and verify complaints
* Monitor supplier performance monthly and take measures if necessary based on defined key figures and quality improvement programs
Your Experiences And Skills
* Completed technical education with specialization in manufacturing or production technology or mechanical engineering
* Several years of professional experience in quality management, development, mechanical production, technical purchasing or steel components and assemblies desirable
* Passion for our products and new technologies
* Very good knowledge of English and German (also in writing)
* Team player with analytical, solution-oriented and proactive working style
* 25% willingness to travel internationally to our suppliers from North America to Asia and the Pacific region
