Human Resources Manager - Work from Home - $150k + Super (negotiable)
Our Client is a medium sized harvesting business. What started as a family run company has evolved into a leader in their field. Due to an acquisition, the company will be doubling in size in less than six months, as such their turnover will be increasing from $20/25m to $50m.
The growth of the business has led to the development of the newly created HR Management role where you will be reporting to Senior management and be responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources, including: Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management and Compliance with Labor Laws.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
* Recruitment and selection: Management of the recruitment and selection process including job advertisements, position descriptions, Manager interviewer training and coaching, preparation of employment contracts, offer negotiation and reference checks.
* Manage employee lifecycle: Induction and onboarding, performance reviews, grievance procedures, performance management, exit management.
* Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
* Training and development: Development of individual performance and development plans and recommendations on HR training and development initiatives that can be leveraged to strengthen business results.
* Manage, maintain and review relationships with immigration departments and third parties surrounding labour agreements and migration requirements.
* Ensure VISA compliance for pending and migrated workers.
* Employee engagement: Initiate and implement programs to support employee engagement and to foster a high-performance culture.
* HR administration: Developing, reviewing and maintaining HR policies.
* Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
* Provide the Senior Management Group with comprehensive, professional HR advice including award and contractual interpretation.
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* Proven experience as a HR Manager or similar role (8-10 years experience).
* In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
* Ability to work efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
* Results driven, with a strong attention to detail.
* You will mainly be dealing with blue collar operators so a background in the agriculture, construction or mining sectors is preferred.
We will be offering a salary of circa $150k + super for this position. This salary may be slightly negotiable for the right candidate.
