It also manages support resources for capital projects across establishment of commercial arrangements, project administration, regulatory approvals and stakeholder engagement.You will lead the Road PMO Program and be accountable to:Develop Council forward capital program based on identified priorities from across the Road Group adopted by CouncilSchedule and monitor delivery of the Roads and Drainage Capital Program and report on program performance to the Road Group Management Team (RGMT)Establish and develop Commercial arrangements for use across the Road Infrastructure Delivery Branch in delivery of the road and drainage capital programme of workManage specialist resources which contribute to delivery across all project stages including regulatory services, cultural heritage, environment services, project engagement, project administration services, procurement and commercial managementThe purpose of this role is to facilitate efficient and effective delivery of the Capital Road and Drainage Program in a coordinated and integrated manner which results in high levels of amenity and safety for residents and business.Role focuses include:Promote and champion a culture of learning and growth where ideas and knowledge are shared and staff are committed to professional and personal developmentDeploy and redirect resources to optimise outcomes for the capital works program, the Road Infrastructure Delivery Branch, the Transport Services Directorate and Council as a wholeCreate a positive team environment, build engagement and promote job satisfactionIdentify, build and maintain relationships across Transport Services Directorate colleagues and key stakeholders, to enable achievement of Road PMO Program objectivesManage implementation of the Local Government Infrastructure Plan and Logan Priority Development Area (PDA) Sub-Regional Infrastructure Agreement delivery priorities to achieve regional infrastructure provision in line with funded objectives, including collaboration with key stakeholders including the Department of Economic Development Queensland (EDQ), representatives of relevant land development parties and Council’s internal stakeholder branchesEstablish and manage a project working team structure for capital projects, incorporating project members from across the Road Group on individual projects from inception to completion. Create specific project teams which exist for the duration of the project, that meets regularly over the project life and comprise permanent team members from planning, project management, project development, detailed design, commercial management, construction, maintenance, regulatory approval, stakeholder engagement and asset managementCommunicate regularly with key stakeholders to raise and promote the profile of the Road PMO Program.
