About the Role
The Operations Manager will provide leadership and operational management of St Vincent's Specialist Clinics through strategic development and delivery via high quality clinical services, optimal operational functionality and financial viability. The Operations Manager will report to the General Manager of Access & Imaging focusing on development and implementation of business improvement solutions aimed towards achievement core business objectives.
* Ensure Specialist Clinics resources and capacity are being utilized effectively to maximize patient access to Specialist Clinics
* Ensure processes are in place and monitored to ensure the patients are scheduled within the clinically recommended timeframes
* Ensure compliance with the Department of Health and Human Services Specialist Clinics Access Policy
* Initiate, lead and manage improvements to implement cultural change, safety and overall performance improvements
* Proactively identify improvement opportunities within Specialist Clinics across the organisation and progress their resolution with the respective managers.
Your Contribution
* Highly developed management and organizational skills
* Experience in the delivery of acute health services, ideally ambulatory/surgical services
* Experience in process improvement
* Understanding of acute health or other complex services
* Experience in redesign, project management and service development
* A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
