Boehringer Ingelheim Security & Crisis Manager (m/f/d) in Vienna, Austria
The position
We are currently seeking an experienced Security & Crisis Manager to join our Regional Center Vienna (RCV). This role, based in Vienna, involves developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and crisis management plans across our organization and supporting our legal entities within the Central Eastern European region.
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Lead the enterprise resilience program in Vienna and in the RCV countries.
2. Ensure the successful implementation, maintenance and further development of our crisis management and business continuity management processes both in Vienna and in the RCV countries.
3. Maintain a global network of security and intelligence relationships to facilitate information exchange for monitoring risks and threats.
4. Design and conduct crisis management trainings and exercises at the Vienna site and in the RCV region.
5. Coordinate all crisis management activities including methodology and decision-making with Crisis Management Team.
Requirements
1. University Degree in Security, Risk or Crisis Management with a proven track record in crisis management and business continuity management (certification in Business Continuity Management or Crisis Management is highly desirable), along with strong knowledge of the geopolitical landscape, particularly in the CEE region.
2. Ability to collaborate with all levels of management, key external organizations and governmental bodies.
3. Experience in conducting crisis management trainings, tabletop exercises and in gathering, analysing and interpreting security intelligence.
4. Willingness to travel within the RCV region (30-40%) as required.
5. Proficiency in both German and English.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 70,000 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
