Cooee is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. This pivotal role ensures the seamless operation of both our restaurant and Cooee Next Door event space, making you an integral part of our leadership team. About the Role:
Daily Operations:
* Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the restaurant and event space, including opening and closing procedures.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and service quality across all areas.
* Assist in stock management, ordering, and supplier coordination to ensure smooth service operations.
Staff Management:
* Lead, supervise, and support the team to deliver exceptional service.
* Assist in staff training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a high-performing, positive work environment.
* Ensure team members adhere to company policies and service standards.
Guest Service:
* Ensure all guests receive a top-tier dining experience by addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
* Drive a service-focused culture that consistently exceeds guest expectations.
* Assist with event coordination and execution to enhance guest experiences.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with a passion for staff development.
* Outstanding customer service abilities with excellent communication skills (both written and spoken English).
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
