Our New Senior Systems Administrator
We are looking for an experienced and passionate IT professional who values expertise, problem-solving, and effective communication. If you are dedicated to supporting and optimizing IT environments, we look forward to meeting you.
Your Role
* You will install, configure, and maintain servers/VMs and operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.).
* You will use a configuration management and automation tool to manage servers, enforce system configurations, and automate repetitive tasks.
* You will monitor system performance and uptime.
* You will apply security patches and software updates.
* You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
* You will manage backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity.
* You will support network infrastructure alongside the network administrators.
* You will support databases alongside DBAs.
* You will enforce security policies and compliance.
* You will handle on-call duty every couple of weeks.
Requirements
* Solid IT education
* At least 7 years of work experience as a systems administrator.
* Experience in Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu), virtualization (e.g., Xen), scripting, web servers and application servers (Apache, Tomcat, HA Proxy), storage systems (e.g., GlusterFS), configuration management and automation (e.g., Puppet).
* Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB incl. Galera Cluster, PostgreSQL)
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* A great team player mentality and excellent people skills.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience in either Scrum or Kanban
* Technical project management experience
* Experience in ITIL
* Terraform

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 3.843,00 per month for a full-time employment, depending on professional experience and/or qualifications, your actual salary is intended to be significantly higher.
