Standing by its clients across sectors, the Corporate & Investment Bank tailors solutions for them by capitalizing on its worldwide expertise in investment banking, global finance, and global markets.Mission:As a Corporate Client Coverage Relationship Manager in SG Vienna, you will be responsible for assisting the Branch’s Management and Senior Bankers in providing corporate banking services as well as investment banking products to corporate clients located in Austria.Tasks and responsibilities:Gain client trust and ensure SG provides the best possible services to clients in full respect of credit risk policies as well as SG scarce resources constraints (funding, RWA).Permanently assess client needs and proactively propose adequate solutions by considering the strategic orientation of our bank.Manage closely the risks and credit aspects.Support all involved business lines on credit and risk-related issues by being capable of handling articulated and complex risk-return assessments of both the overall client's profile and every specific deal.Run all corporate coverage activities in Austria, striving to increase income related to investment banking and transaction banking activities.Coordinate actions around main clients with both senior bankers and colleagues of business lines involved, developing transversal businesses and cross-selling activities with both affiliates and other SG departments.Enhance the bank’s institutional profile by organizing/participating in strategic events.Fully embed the bank’s ESG strategy in the day-to-day management of the client relationship to create future value and generate tomorrow’s opportunities.Demonstrate the highest standards of conduct and behavior in meeting Compliance's and internal procedures: Contribute to data quality enhancement with the highest standards of execution when related to compliance processes (KYC, Embargoes & Sanctions).Respect local regulations and rules to protect the firm’s interests whilst actively seeking sustainable growth for the client.Profile requiredStudies & experience:Higher education.Relevant professional experience in financial services.Language skills:Proficiency in German.Fluency in English.Technical, operational & Soft skills:Strong product knowledge.Good knowledge of major risks related topics: credit, operational, reputational, compliance.Deep understanding of the clients’ strategies, product needs, and financial objectives.Good capacity to assess and understand client needs while considering the strategy/liquidity constraints of the bank.Solid understanding of financial analysis.Strong knowledge of the internal control framework and the regulatory environment, rules, and applicable regulations.Ability to identify and focus on actionable new business opportunities, with a strategic vision on market and value drivers.Very good communication skills, with the ability to address key decision-makers.Ability to identify new prospect clients.Ability to maintain long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.Acting with integrity, due skill, care, and diligence.Paying due regard to the interest of the customers and treating them fairly.Observing proper standards of market conduct.Why join usSociété Générale Austria is a multi-category bank offering every employee the possibility to have several careers in a professional career path.
