About This Role
The Software Engineering team is seeking a Senior QA Software Engineer with expertise in C# to contribute to the development of a solution that can be installed by customers locally or deployed in SaaS. The Software Engineering team implements features that deliver immediate operational benefits and provide significant improvements for dispatchers and planners. Here you will have a chance to grow your technical skills while working with experienced engineers on enterprise software that provides value to travelers and airlines around the world.
The role we are offering you:
* Participating in a full agile development life cycle, working closely with product management, delivery and development teams.
* Designing, creating, executing and maintaining automated tests and manual tests.
* Troubleshooting and isolating issues, finding defects and working with software engineers to resolve them.
* Providing estimates of quality assurance time and effort.
* Creating appropriate test data and builds and maintaining regression test suites.
* Monitoring test execution, collecting metrics, identifying coverage gaps and applying needed corrections.
* Supporting and maintaining test environment.
Our ideal candidate has:
* 4+ years of experience in developing automated tests.
* Experience in C# programming language.
* Experience in functional and non-functional testing.
* Test frameworks (NUnit and TestStack.White).
* Git.
* T-SQL.
* JIRA or another bug tracking tool.
* HP ALM or another test management tool.
* Test process and testing techniques.
* Software Development Lifecycle (SCRUM/Kanban methodology).
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good English communication skills, written and verbal.
The following will be considered as a plus:
* Experience in Selenium.
* Knowledge how to test microservices.
* Knowledge how to test Cloud based solutions.
* Knowledge of Jenkins.
* Working in global and distributed teams.
* Knowledge of aviation domain (mainly flight planning).

* Euro Plaza, Gebäude H, Lehrbachgasse 11, 1120 Wien, Austria.

Product Overview
Flight Plan Manager is a comprehensive flight planning solution that is used by 30+ customers including some of the largest airlines in the world. The product combines complete data support services — notice to airmen (NOTAMS), weather, airport suitability and airspace restrictions — with real-time alerts. The 4-D cost optimization functionality, route, altitude, speed and time are analyzed to create an optimal flight path that accounts for fuel costs, CO2 emissions and delays.
