In your new role, you will:
1. Focus application of role: Traction Inverter
2. Focus product: HV Chips (SiC, IGBT)
3. Be part of product development projects for chip products:
1. Responsible for defining the right-fit product requirements, derive the target datasheet and be the internal technical interface to the product development teams R&D and customers in creation phase.
2. Develop and coordinate projects in the area of performance benchmarking of our products' performance in application context system.
3. Contribute to design-in to design-win activities towards to our success in high voltage discrete products.
4. Act as a technical customer interface during product development accompanying technical coordination with our lead customers, fine-tune and agree on clarify requirements and support successful product validation in the customer system design.
5. Closely collaborate with our regional field application AE/FAE engineering teams.
You have a clear notion of how innovation contributes to the commercial success of the company, you constantly gain new insights by questioning existing assumptions, and you inspire others for your ideas explaining even complex issues in a clear and convincing manner. Furthermore, you accept responsibility for decisions and for their positive or negative outcomes. You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
1. A degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, physics or a related field; a PhD is a plus.
2. At least 3-5 years of professional experience in power electronics (automotive, industrial, consumer) in the semiconductor industry, at a research institute or as a hardware designer for power systems (e.g. in Application Engineering, System Engineering, Technical Marketing).
3. Experience in setting up and running tests for power components.
4. Experience in technical leadership is a plus.
5. Know-how in power technologies such as SiC MOSFETs.
6. Know-how in the creation of technical articles, presentations containing complex technical content.
7. Practical experience in working as a project member in a matrix organization.
8. Very good communication and presentation skills in English.
