We are seeking a highly strategic individual with experience in a similar role to join our Head Office team in Broadbeach as a Pricing Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
More about this role:
A highly visible and business-critical role that will lead a dynamic team, ensuring delivery of accurate costings and pricing of airline menus. This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of company pricing strategies, as well as identifying target markets and reviewing customer trends to help determine the need for new products or services.
In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:
* Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability
* Assist with pricing negotiations of customers’ proposals
* Prepare clear Best and Final Offers (BAFO)
* Maintain relevant costing templates with accurate information including, but not limited to, the input of rates and overheads
* Accountable for the accurate documentation of customer costing & pricing in line with the customer requirements and dnata frameworks
* Update and maintain customer CPI requirements and documentation in line with the annual scheduling timelines
* Partner with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Culinary, Operations, Finance, and the Commercial Team to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach to market
What do you need to be successful in the role?
* Demonstrated track record of success in a previous Pricing Manager or similar role
* Post graduate qualifications is highly desirable
* Strong financial acumen including extensive experience in building financial models and analyzing data sets
* Excellent attention to detail
* Experience with developing and working with BI tools such as Power BI
* Experience in commercial food production or manufacturing industry is highly preferable
* Team player with strong leadership and project management capability
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.
