ANDRITZ is seeking a dynamic Senior Automation Engineer to support our entry into the P2X market. In this role, you will be responsible for designing hardware and software concepts for our green hydrogen and renewable fuel solutions.

In your role, you will
* Develop innovative automation hardware and software concepts for our plant solutions
* Define the requirements for the automation equipment
* Align and jointly review interfaces to the process equipment and MES applications
* Participate in HAZOP and LOPA studies
* Address cybersecurity requirements and solutions
* Work closely with project management and disciplines such as piping, layout, static and rotating equipment, and electrical disciplines both in the proposal and engineering phase
* Be the interface to the automation hardware and software engineers
* Lead hardware and software FATs and SATs
* Be part of the commissioning, start-up, and optimization team
In your personal skillset, you have
* Degree level qualification in an automation or process engineering discipline
* Minimum five years of experience in automation hardware and software design
* Experience with different industry control systems; Siemens PCS7 system and programming experience is a plus
* Knowledge about substation systems; experience with protocols like IEC61850 is a plus
* Ability to consult with customers and suppliers about technical design requirements
* Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills
* Solution/team/customer-oriented with the confidence to act proactively
* Fluent in English; another European language is an advantage
* Willingness to travel for at least 5 days per month

In Austria, we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of €4,112.78 for this position. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer a market-based salary.
