With a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction, the Sales and Marketing Manager Oceania will lead our sales efforts for aircraft parts trading and aircraft parts MRO services in the Oceania region. The primary responsibility of the Sales and Marketing Manager Oceania is to institute and execute the sales strategies of Skyways Technics for the Oceania region.
The duties of the Sales and Marketing Manager Oceania include but are not limited to the day-to-day leadership and development of the Skyways Technics Australia spares sales team, its continual performance, and the satisfaction of our customers. Additionally, he/she shall help define, follow, and achieve the annual targets and sales budget. The Sales and Marketing Manager Oceania reports directly to the Commercial Manager APAC.
This role also requires an entrepreneurial and result driven mindset as well as a strong background in both sales and purchasing (including brokering and repair management).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Development:
• Directing the development and implementation of sales strategies and setting sales targets in order to maximise an organisation's sales and customer loyalty
• Directing the development and implementation of strategies to promote an organisation's goods and services to as many customers as possible
• Directing the development and implementation of strategies to generate increased consumption of an organisation's goods and services through the creation and reinforcement of 'brand image' or 'brand loyalty'
• Directing the development and implementation of strategies to build and maintain an organisation's image and reputation with its customers, investors and the wider public
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry contacts and market knowledge
• Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly
• Participate in exhibitions and trade fairs and handle their organization in collaboration with the Marketing Department
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, capability development, and operations, to align sales efforts with business objectives
• Travel regularly to visit customers and stakeholders
• Ensure orders are delivered on time and as per customer expectations
• Ensure customers’ payment is on time
2. Team Building and Leadership:
• Ensure good and efficient collaboration with customer support, external repair and internal repair, and spares purchasing
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to team members to achieve individual and team goals
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement
Skills & Added Qualifications:
* Minimum 7 years’ experience in aircraft parts trading
* Must be fluent in English and French (native)
* Proven track record in dealing with ATR, Dash8, Airbus and Boeing aircraft
* Flexible with travel, frequent business trip up to 50% per month
* Strong interpersonal skills, a true leader, who inspires and leads naturally
* Self-motivated and performance driven
* Multi-tasker, hands on and team player
* Aviation background in selling B2B services, especially for repairing and overhauling aircraft parts and selling aircraft components and parts
* An existing network of customers in commercial aviation aftermarket sector
