The Research Group for Applied Social Psychology and Consumer Research (Univ.-Prof. Dr. A. Florack) at the Department of Occupational, Economic, and Social Psychology is seeking a dedicated and flexible University Assistant (prae-doc level) with an interest in social psychology and consumer research or related fields.
In our research group, we investigate how social and non-social environments shape individual experiences, behaviors, and beliefs. In particular, our objective is to contribute to a better understanding of how consumers respond to major societal challenges, including the current economic development, the demand for sustainable and healthy consumption, and digital transformation.
The University Assistant will work in the EU-funded DIAMOND Project (https://diamond-empower.eu/). The innovative project aims to increase labor market participation and economic resilience by addressing growing skills gaps through empowering self-directed development. DIAMOND addresses the challenges of rapid digitalization and green transitions. The project takes a human-centered, personalized approach to help individuals prepare for new employment demands. It focuses in particular on individuals from vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds.
The duration of the employment contract is 13 months, with a working week of 30 hours. The position fills a maternity leave.
The project provides an opportunity to start a dissertation in the field.
