Tell us about your strengths and apply as a Group Head of Life&Health Actuarial (m/f/d) We are searching for a person taking over the Group reserving responsibility for health similar to life business (where UNIQA is holding the market leading position in Austria) and for the life business. This includes a Group leading position for insurance portfolios across 13 countries. This role takes responsibility in fulfilling the life&health actuarial requirements within UNIQA Group regarding IFRS, Solvency II and regarding the use of projection models for the purpose of internal steering. The responsibility covers the evaluation for the Austrian portfolio and the guidance via Standards and Validations for the international business units. There is flexibility for agreement regarding the place of work due to home office possibilities and office spaces in different locations within the UNIQA Group region (international but also within Austria outside Vienna). What to expect: Coordination and evaluation of insurance technical provisions for life and health (similar to life) insurance Implementation and enhancement of actuarial valuation models (e.g. Prophet) across various accounting regimes with a strong and dedicated team (local GAAP, IFRS, Solvency II) Contribute to the Group's risk management framework (especially for the preparation of a full internal model with the focus on life and health similar to life underwriting risk) and ALM framework Leading the Life&Health actuarial IFRS 17 Group process (key role within overall forecasting/planning/disclosure/closing process) Maintenance of the Group's life&health actuarial policies and standards Providing leadership, direction and management of the respective team Ensuring compliance with all related policy guidance and regulatory requirements (e.g. managing internal control system and training process across UNIQA Group) We expect: Completed university degree in the field of financial mathematics and/or actuarial mathematics) / MBA Member of the actuarial profession Several years of experience in evaluation of life and/or health similar to life insurance Strong Solvency II and IFRS 17 know-how Cohesive ability in interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to unite diverse teams and drive alignment.
