An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced and proven parts professional to become an integral member of our management team as our Parts Development Manager located at our Nunawading warehouse. The successful candidate will actively lead and manage a high-performing parts team and warehouse operation.
Your new role will also include:
* Leadership and mentoring staff members
* Lead and develop the Parts team to meet individual and department targets
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and engagement with the business operations manager
* Develop operating plans and have the ability to execute and achieve financial & operational targets
* Ensure team consistently exceeds expectations of internal and external customers
* Ability to manage a warehouse and large-scale inventory within the trade and workshops
* Support the Parts Manager in the daily running of the parts operations, including acting as support/deputy in his absence
* Provide support to the dealer network for all parts related issues, including technical, supply, application assistance concerns and general enquiries
* Processing of orders with internal departments and coordinating logistics with the warehouse
* Maintain obsolescence reduction in line with KPIs and processing customer orders
* Dealer returns/credits processing and reporting

* Managerial experience in an automotive environment
* Demonstrated ability in successfully managing, developing and motivating a team
* You are customer focused, with a team player mindset and must have a positive attitude
* Proven ability to build successful relationships with all customers, and represent the company brands with high levels of professionalism
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Intermediate/Advanced MS Office skills and ability to learn and use company-specific software
* Strong experience in understanding and interpreting Automotive, inventory and financial reports
