About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Alumni Relations Manager to join our team within the Division of the Vice-President, Public Affairs and Partnerships. In close consultation with the Associate Director Alumni, the Alumni Relations Manager plays a pivotal role in managing alumni relationships and strengthening the lifelong connections between the University and its alumni community.
Key Responsibilities
As an Alumni Relations Manager, you will:
* Lead the operational planning and execution of alumni events and engagement activities that align with the University's strategic objectives.
* Develop and implement innovative communication strategies to foster strong alumni connections through various channels, including social media, EDMs, and the alumni website.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of projects, events and initiatives requiring alumni participation.
* Manage the production of alumni publications, including the Alumni GradLife Magazine, ensuring high-quality content and impactful storytelling.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with alumni at all stages of their careers, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional with a strong background in alumni engagement, relationship management, and communications. The ideal candidate will possess:
* A degree qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education and training.
* Proven experience in delivering exceptional client services through contemporary relationship management practices.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative approaches to stakeholder engagement.
* High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience in event and project management, ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives within deadlines.
* Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management databases such as Raiser’s Edge, with experience in utilising data to inform decision-making.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $121,056 to $130,572 p.a. (comprising Salary of $102,294 to $110,335 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
