This 12-month program offers employment and career development opportunities specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals. The program commences in April 2025.The GYK program includes:A full-time, 12-month contract that can lead to permanent employment upon successful program completion.Structured professional learning and development and on-the-job learning.Guidance and support from the Aboriginal Strategy Team, along with a sponsor/mentor and our Aboriginal Gnalla staff network.Convenient office locations near public transport, making it easy to get to and from work.An open and collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and diverse perspectives.The roleAs a Senior Investigator, you will play a vital role in conducting lawful investigations into complex complaints and, where appropriate, compiling briefs of evidence for use in any Court or Tribunal.Analyse complex complaints, including fidelity guarantee account claims and other material received by the Department.Identify potential offences or instances of non-compliance under applicable laws for investigation or other appropriate courses of action.Investigate complex complaints and assess information, including the preparation of investigation plans, gathering evidence from relevant sources through appropriate means, collecting witness statements, executing search warrants, and conducting records of interview which will be admissible before any Court.About usHere at DEMIRS we value diversity and appreciate every individual’s perspective, bringing together a diverse and inclusive workforce to drive innovation and success.
