Add expected salary to your profile for insights.As part of a group-wide finance transformation project, the CFO and Executive leadership are looking to onboard an FPA leader who is comfortable managing both the FPA function whilst taking ownership of Financial Systems. In sum, this will suit an individual who can manage BAU activities/people management and look to drive process & operational improvement across FPA and the finance systems that support them. With exposure to the CFO and leadership, this role offers a genuine platform to evolve from a functional to operational leader.You will have a background in large-scale process improvement specifically within the Budgeting/Forecasting and FPA arena. Furthermore, you will be comfortable communicating and working on strategy with senior leadership, yet equally comfortable implementing or "doing" the suggested process improvement. Whilst initially a 5/6 month contract, this has the potential to lead into a long-term opportunity. Key deliverables will include:Analysis of financial performance for delegate Business Units.Lead the preparation and presentation of financial performance reports to senior leadership, including insights into revenue, expenditure, capital, and cash flow.Ensure that reporting aligns with the group's strategic objectives, supports executive decision-making, and delivers timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights.Continuously enhance reporting and analytics processes, identifying key performance drivers and optimizing data sources for better business outcomes.Collaborate closely with the Executive team to develop workforce models that align with strategic objectives and financial targets.Assist with the development of financial budgets (Corporate Plan, Business Plan), forecasts, and management reports.Constructively and respectfully challenge business stakeholders by providing insightful financial analysis.Provide ongoing financial education to key stakeholders across the business with the objective of improving commercial acumen in the organization to proactively manage its financial performance.Ad hoc analysis as required to support business activities and initiatives.Ensure that all key activities add value to achieving, and are in line with Strategic Direction.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels. You will be business-oriented and able to handle day-to-day operational finance, mid-term projects, and financial strategy.
