Department Manager of Content Creation (f/m/x)
Austria: Graz
As the Department Manager of Content Creation, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies across various channels, ensuring alignment with Anton Paar’s brand voice. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and content creation to highlight the value of our technology. You will collaborate closely with Technical Marketing and Product Management to create engaging, customer-centric content. The ideal candidate has experience across multiple formats, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of SEO and content marketing trends.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement content strategies for both online and offline channels.
* Apply strong content creation, editing, and proofreading skills to ensure high-quality outputs.
* Adapt content for different formats and channels (brochures, web, social media, video, etc.).
* Communicate the technological strengths of our products, focusing on business and operational benefits.
* Maintain and update a brand style guide, defining tone, voice, and language usage.
* Stay current with trends and best practices in content marketing.
* Lead with direct management experience, effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders as well as target audiences.
* Utilize comprehensive knowledge of SEO strategies and best practices to enhance content visibility.
* Work closely with Technical Marketing and Product Management to produce customer-engaging content.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in content marketing.
* 1-3 years of experience in a management position.
* A degree in marketing or a related field.
* Excellent English skills (preferably level C2); German language skills are a plus.
* Experience working with multiple content formats, including video and SEO optimization.
* Extensive experience and enjoyment in creating texts/copywriting.
* Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe tools.
* Experience in a large industrial corporation is an advantage.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position, it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €4,300.00 to €4,900.00.
