E-Commerce & Marketing Manager – Digital, Brand & Creative
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing & E-Commerce Manager to lead and execute all aspects of E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Traditional Marketing, Brand Strategy, Creative Development, and Content Production for our innovative Gold Coast-based brand. This role combines E-Commerce Management with Performance Marketing, Brand Communications, and Creative Direction, ensuring a seamless and engaging brand experience across all customer touchpoints.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer, creative storyteller, and e-commerce expert who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment. They will be responsible for managing and optimizing the brand’s e-commerce platforms, developing high-performing marketing campaigns, overseeing creative execution, and directing external agencies to achieve growth and engagement goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage the brand’s DTC e-commerce platforms (Shopify), ensuring an optimal shopping experience.
* Optimize site UX/UI, navigation, and conversion paths to enhance engagement and sales.
* Oversee product merchandising, pricing, and promotions to maximize revenue and AOV.
* Collaborate with developers and designers to implement site updates, A/B testing, and CRO strategies.
* Ensure all product pages, content, and imagery are on-brand, high-quality, and optimized for conversion.
* Implement and manage subscription models, bundling, and loyalty programs to drive retention.
* Monitor and analyze site performance, sales data, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Digital Marketing & Performance Growth
* Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales across paid and organic channels.
* Lead SEO, SEM, paid social, programmatic advertising, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and influencer partnerships.
* Manage Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, TikTok, and other paid platforms, optimizing for ROI and CPA.
* Drive email/SMS marketing strategies, including automation, segmentation, and personalization.
* Utilize data analytics, heatmaps, and customer insights to improve acquisition, retention, and conversion rates.
* Manage external performance marketing agencies, ensuring effective budget allocation and campaign execution.
Traditional & Non-Digital Marketing
* Oversee public relations, community engagement, experiential marketing, and brand activations.
* Lead event marketing, sponsorships, and industry partnerships to build brand presence.
* Manage print, OOH, and traditional media to complement digital campaigns.
* Work with PR agencies and media partners to secure press coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
Brand & Communications Strategy
* Define and execute the brand’s voice, messaging, and storytelling across all touchpoints.
* Develop integrated marketing campaigns that combine digital and traditional channels.
* Ensure all brand communications are educational, engaging, and compliant with industry regulations.
* Collaborate with creative agencies, influencers, and content creators to drive awareness and engagement.
Creative & Content Development
* Oversee the production of high-quality content, including video, photography, blogs, email, social media, and advertising assets.
* Manage web and e-commerce creative, including banners, landing pages, product images, and promotional content.
* Lead the creative direction of campaigns, ensuring consistency across platforms.
* Direct external creative agencies to ensure alignment with brand identity and objectives.
Agency & Partner Management
* Manage and direct external agencies, including:
o Performance marketing agencies (Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic).
o Creative agencies (content, video production, and branding).
o PR firms and media partners.
o E-commerce development teams (for website updates and technical optimizations).
* Provide strategic direction, clear briefs, and performance KPIs to agency partners.
* Ensure all agency outputs align with brand goals and deliver strong ROI.
Data-Driven Growth & Performance Tracking
* Use analytics and reporting tools (Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, etc.) to measure performance and optimize strategies.
* Track key e-commerce and marketing KPIs, including conversion rate, AOV, ROAS, CPA, and customer lifetime value.
* Leverage A/B testing, heatmaps, and audience segmentation to refine marketing and e-commerce strategies.
* Present monthly performance reports and insights, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in E-Commerce Management, Digital Marketing, and Brand Strategy.
* Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email/SMS marketing, paid media, and conversion rate optimization.
* Experience in merchandising, UX/UI optimization, and website performance tracking.
* Hands-on experience in performance marketing, affiliate marketing, and influencer partnerships.
* Ability to analyze data, customer insights, and marketing analytics to drive decision-making.
* Strong background in brand strategy, content development, and creative direction.
* Experience in agency management, including performance marketing, creative, PR, and development agencies.
* Experience in wholesale and retail is a plus.
* Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
