About the Role
Based in Gapuwiyak, Arnhem Land, the Employment Development Manager is responsible for the "on the ground" delivery of the CDP contract. It is a diverse role that focuses on managing stakeholder relationships and mentoring local Indigenous staff members. You will be working closely with a range of community and government stakeholders to maximise employment opportunities and provide a high level of support to job seekers currently required to participate in the CDP program.
Responsibilities
* Develop CDP employees to meet program objectives.
* Tailor the program based on community consultation and cultural obligations.
* Support case management and engagement activities.
* Deliver personalized services for each participant.
* Identify and develop strategies with stakeholders for community integration.
* Build relationships with employers, training providers, and community members.
* Document and measure program performance as required.
* Collaborate with management to solve problems and deliver appropriate services.
* Uphold ALPA values and commit to work health and safety.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in CDP roles (Employment Consultant, Activities Coordinator, Site Manager, etc.).
* Undergraduate degree in health, human, social, or community services (or progress towards it).
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills adaptable to diverse needs.
* Ability to align activities with ALPA values and mission.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an NT driving license.

This position is based in a remote First Nations community in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. This position is a fixed term contract.
