As our new Senior Machine Learning Engineer NLP, you will build and deploy machine learning solutions into production on cloud platforms. You will make a significant impact by delivering projects both regionally and internationally.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Designing and developing ML solutions/systems with focus on Language Technologies (Natural Language Processing, Speech Processing, Generative AI (Gen AI)) based on customer requirements
* Building, maintaining and improving our ML solutions following best practices in programming, modelling, automation and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
* Establishing tech stacks which we can replicate across internal and external projects – with focus on the fast-developing LLM area
* Collaborating in interdisciplinary teams, where you assist our Data Science and Engineering colleagues with their ML deployment
* Deploying ML solutions that meet our internal standards for security, availability, performance, maintainability, and best practices for cloud environments
Your Competencies:
* 5+ years’ experience as Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist in the field of NLP, working with language models or LLMs
* Understanding of data structures, data modeling, ML algorithms and software architecture
* Proficient in Python and ML frameworks/libraries
* Experienced with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and solid understanding of Git, Linux, Containers, and Kubernetes
* Familiar with managed ML environments such as Azure ML, Amazon Sagemaker, or MLFlow

* Ability to work in a cross-functional team and collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers

Minimum salary for Austria, which is according to our collective bargaining agreement trade, €2.343 gross salary per month. However, we will offer you a competitive compensation package aligned with your skills and experience.
