Responsibilities:
* Further development of our central data storage and archiving as part of an agile, international development team
* Helping to shape the central data storage, independently of the database technology used
* Supporting colleagues in the introduction and implementation of the code-first approach to data modelling
* Supporting the installation, configuration and operation of database management systems
* Being a competent point of contact for new requirements and challenges of data storage in our customers' productive systems
Qualifications:
* Completed education (HTL, university or FH, TU or comparable) with a focus on information technology, computer science or a related field
* At least 3 years of professional experience in dealing with and in the administration of database management systems, in the design of database schemas and the development of corresponding access layers
* Very good knowledge of software development (C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, etc.)
* Extensive knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL as well as experience with Oracle or with alternatives such as SQLite, PostgreSQL or MS SQL
* Team player with strong communication and abstraction skills
* Very good knowledge of English, German desirable
